In today’s increasingly digitized world, industries, communication, critical infrastructure, and essential services are more reliant than ever on digital technologies. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated this trend, as remote work and online interactions became the norm. However, this rapid digital transformation has also highlighted the urgent need for robust cybersecurity and resilience.
Many new systems are deployed without adequate security measures, data protection, or disaster recovery plans. In their pursuit of innovation and efficiency, developers and consumers often overlook the potential risks, leaving vulnerabilities that can be exploited by malicious actors.
DIGILIENCE is an annual conference, established in 2019, that focuses on advancing the state of the art in cybersecurity and resilience for ICT-intensive processes, services, and systems. We are particularly interested in studies that examine the interdependencies between systems, consider the human and policy contexts of their operation, and present evidence-based research and datasets.
