FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the expected paper length for the conference?
The typical paper is between 8 and 15 pages in the ISIJ format, or between 12 and 15 pages in the Springer format. Somewhat longer papers, of about 20 pages, would also be considered for publication.
Do I retain rights over my work?
Authors must sign an exclusive Licence to Publish for their contributions with the respective publisher (depending on which submission option you chose) when an article is accepted for publication. This license might require you to transfer copyright over your work. This means that although you still retain substantial rights, such as self-archiving, and your intellectual property rights, you will not be able to re-publish your work or re-submit it elsewhere.

If possible, the organizing committee will ensure that the author is able to present their paper and participate in the conference online.
If none of the authors of the paper are able to present it at the conference, the paper will not be included in the conference proceedings.
